So who is behind Midland Early Bay & Aircooled Academy?


I'm Graham Lyall, I started Midland Early Bay back in 2009 as a VW Camper & restoration company, in the early days we imported a lot of rust free campers from the US and other drier climates but over the years the company has evolved and these days we mainly carry out mechanical restoration & maintenance work.

Back in 2015 we started to offer training courses for owners new to VW aircooled vehicles with a view that they could learn how they worked and how to look after them. These have been hugely succesful and we have trained close to 200 owners as well as offering FREE 'Mini courses' atĀ selected Aircooled Shows throughout the UK.

At the end of 2019 we formally launched our Aircooled Academy as an offshoot of Midland Early Bay with a view to offering a wider range of courses however global events in 2020 meant that whilst we were not able to deliver many face to face courses we started to focus on how we could deliver these courses online, its taken a while to find the right solution but we believe we are now there and hence the launch of Aircooled Academy Online
